Units of the 25th Special Forces Division of the Syrian Arab Republic conducted offensive operations in the area of he settlement of Tell es-Samen. Under the guidance of Russian military instructors, the servicemen underwent ground parachute training and performed landing from helicopters in full combat gear. In addition, the Syrian special forces also practiced parachuteless landing from a helicopter using descenders, climbing equipment and high-speed descent ropes. Recently, all units of the Syrian Arab Army have been increasing the number of classes and training conducted, demonstrating an increase in the overall level of readiness to repel an external threat.
